Food & Drug Agency (BPOM) Certification
The Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (Indonesian: Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan, lit. ’Food and Drug Supervisory Agency’), Badan POM/BPOM, or Indonesian FDA is a government agency of Indonesia responsible for protecting public health through the control and supervision of prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceutical drugs (medication), vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, food safety, traditional medicine and cosmetics. The task and purposes of this agency is similar to the USFDA.
In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 166/2000, the Directorate-General of Drug and Food Control was officially divested from the Ministry of Health to become an independent agency which reports directly to the President.
Halal Certification BPJPH
Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body – Ministry of Religious Affair
The Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body (BPJPH) under the auspices of Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. BPJPH was formed on October 2017 based on the mandate of Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Products Assurance.
Decree of the Minister of Religion is a decision issued by the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in order to carry out his duties and authorities as a public official in the field of religion.
The Decree of the Minister of Religion contains policies, programs or actions taken by the Minister of Religion in carrying out their duties.
Food Safety Risk Management Program (PMR) Certification
The National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan – “BPOM”) has enforced the Food-Safety Risk-Management Program (Program Manajemen Resiko – “PMR”) at Processed Food Production Facilities in order to update various provisions on the food safety PMR due to the urgent need for a comprehensive legal framework and to bring the PMR into line with recent Scientific and Technological developments.
One of the efforts that is considered strategic to prevent food poisoning is to increase the active role of internal food business/industry is developing a Risk Management Program (RMP) to be implemented in Food Industry. The Food Safety Risk Management Program is a written program designed by the government to ensure the fulfillment of Food Safety, Quality and Nutrition requirements as well as compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
Veterinary Control Certificate ( Nomor Karantina Veterinary – NKV)
Veterinary Control Certificate of Animal Origin Business Unit, hereaafter referred to as Veterinary Control Number (NKV) , means a certificate as a val-id written proof that hygiene and sanitary requirements have been fulfilled as the basic feasibility of guaranteeing the safety of food of animal origin in an animal origin food business unit.
